My Docs

On the My Docs page you can upload documents or files and share them with your clients by sending a direct link to the page.

Note – My Docs URLs are publicly available, so do not include any client specific personal information or data in the documents you upload. All file types are accepted.

Uploading a document

  1. In the left sidebar click Paper Work and select My Docs to open the page.
  1. Click Upload new docs in the upper-right corner of the page.
  1. In the Files to Upload dialog, drag a file directly from a folder on your computer or click anywhere within the dashed rectangle to choose a file to upload.
  1. Click Upload Docs to finish uploading the document.

After the document successfully uploads you will see a confirmation message, and a URL to the document will appear on the My Docs page.

Viewing and sharing a document

When you upload a document, it is given a unique URL that you can open in any web browser. You can share this document as a link, or send it to a client through email or any other messaging service.

For example, here is a link to a sample handout uploaded on the My Docs page.

To send a document to a client:

  1. Find the document you want to share and click Copy URL.
  1. Paste this URL into the body of an email, or whatever messaging service you use to communicate with clients. Many email platforms will automatically format the URL as a link.
  1. Your client can then click the link or paste the URL into their web browser to view the document.

Managing Documents

The My Docs page has some additional options for sorting and managing the your uploaded documents.

  • Download – Click the download icon to save a copy of the document to your hard drive.
  • Delete – Click the trash can icon to delete a document you no longer want or need.
